Recreational Class

Welcome to our beginner class! This is where our new cheerleaders under 12 tend to start before joining a competing team. Joining this class first allows the cheerleader to build the basic skills required in a routine. It also puts less pressure on the cheerleader as they only have to focus on their own progress rather than a team as well.

Alternatively, some of our beginner cheerleaders decide they would rather remain in the beginner class and not compete at all. This is entirely up to the cheerleader, no one has to be on the competing teams.

Cheerleaders over 12 usually go straight in to a competing team as they find it easier to pick up the skills than younger cheerleaders would. However, if a cheerleader over the age of 12 wishes to not compete we have a separate tumble class for them to join.
