On Friday the 5th of July, we had the amazing opportunity of being invited to perform at Bishop Tufnell Junior School. As we are still a relatively new cheerleading team, we are in the process of raising funds to one day open our own gym. We managed to raise £54 for the team by doing face-painting, hair braiding, a lucky dip and putting on a display of stunts, tumbles and dance. It was a great afternoon full of fun. We had the opportunity to meet so many new children who are now interested in joining the team, as well as seeing other displays. There were so many talented children singing, playing African Drums alongside a display of Classic Cars.

Team Contributions

It was really nice to see all the cheerleaders taking part, everyone pitched in and had a part to play. Some of our younger cheerleaders went round handing out flyers, providing information to children about how they can join the team. The older cheerleaders were helping to manage our stall, providing information about cheerleading, and providing the face-painting and hair braiding services.

We would just like to thank Bishop Tufnell School and the team who organised such a successful and fun-filled afternoon. Our cheerleaders had so much fun taking part in this event, talking to the children and performing their skills and showing off their talents.

Where the money goes

Currently, as a growing team we are fundraising for new uniforms for our cheerleaders, music for the competitions and to get our own gym one day. We are continuing to fundraise throughout the season to achieve these goals over the next couple of seasons.
